Future Blog Posts

Just to whet the appetite, here are some topics I intend to write on soon:

  • On Waldorf Education: the basics of Waldorf, and why we entrust our children to them.
  • On Jung, Leary, Wilson, Steiner, and Astrology: the links between Jungian archetypes, Leary and Wilson’s 8-circuit model of consciousness, Steiner’s multiple-body model, and astrological signs.
  • On the Mile: Where did this measure come from? Why is it that length? My mother’s theory!
  • The Dream: Stargazer Lilly Farm: what we want for our family.
  • How Animal Husbandry Created Civilization: the title says it all.
  • Podcasts of Poetry and Rituals. As I get better at writing poetry and performing the rituals of Druidry, I’ll record them and post them to the site. They should be good for a laugh a few years down the road.
  • Integrating Your Children into your Life’s Work. Why is this important? How can it be done?
  • Disciplining Children. The ancient Celts believed in compensatory justice, not punitive justice. What does this mean for raising children?
  • The Plight of the Honey Bee. The bee is in trouble. Why? What does it mean for us spiritually?
  • Tarot Spreads. I enjoy using the Tarot as much as the next Pagan. Some spreads I’ve made up…
  • The Celtic Way of Seeing: Review. A review of Frank MacEowen’s latest work.
  • The Last Blog Post. My submission for the “Blog Apolcalypse” meme.
  • Nuts and Bolts of Druidism. So you want to be a druid? Here’s how…
  • Narnia from a Pagan Perspective. ‘Nuff said.
  • Phonosemantics of Tolkien’s Names.
  • Organic Religions. What are they? Why are they Good?
  • Trust in your Own Humanity. Science teaches us doubt. Why is this bad?
  • Laws of Language; Laws of Magic. Language is Magic: with examples.
  • How to Visualize. Or at least, how I do it.
  • Reconstructing Paganism. How can the techniques of historical linguistics be used to better reconstruct ancient pagan practices?
  • Parenting and Linguistics. Not strictly druidic, but still: what does linguistics have to teach about raising children?

Let me know if you are particularly interested in seeing one of these topics covered, and I’ll move it up in the queue!
