2008 Almanac & Daily Planner
NOW 50% OFF.
Welcome to the 2008 Almanac and Daily Planner from the Druid Journal.
In this volume I have tried to bring together the most useful and interesting information –
Weather & Climate
Astrological Influences
Lunar and Solar Passages
Holidays
Quotations to invite Spiritual Reflection
Landscape art inspired by Nature and the Ancient World
– in a simple format that allows you to plan and weave your life according to the rhythms of the earth and sky.
Each week you’ll find expected temperatures and rainfall, moon phases, important astrological events, and holidays from a multitude of traditions. You’ll also find an inspirational quotation – usually, but not always, from my site, the Druid Journal – and a “Word of the Week”, an in-depth exploration of a single word’s history and spiritual energy. Finally, the week is capped off with artwork created by myself in the style of my web site.
On top of all this, the quarter and cross-quarter holidays of modern paganism, which mark the grand turnings of the ancient year, are given special note, with history, etymology, and notes on climate. And last – but certainly not least! – Esmerelda, a local witch, has kindly provided an in-depth essay on weather magic, with particular attention to global warming – and what you can do about it!
FREE DOWNLOAD. Click here to download a free .pdf of the first six weeks of the calendar — the winter season between the Solstice and Imbolc.
Go to the product ordering page at lulu.com to view other sample pages from the Almanac — the table of contents, introduction to weather magic, and more.
No risk. If this almanac is unsatisfactory to you in any way, simply contact me with your lulu order number and I’ll refund your entire purchase, including shipping. I’m not a corporation — I’m an individual. I want to work with you to make sure you’re satisfied!
*** Now that we’re deep into 2008, it makes no sense to offer the Almanac at full price. It is now 50% off: $9.99 for the print edition, and $7.00 for the download. ***
My hope is that you will take this Planner into your life as a trusted companion, that it will become worn and tattered over the year, covered with dates and appointments and parties and doodles in three colors of ink, maybe even with some passages underlined and bookmarked. A daily planner can have no finer fate.
Blessings to you and all of your loved ones for the coming year!
Jeff Lilly

Hello Jeff,
Is there anyway I can have the first six weeks of the alminac in something other than a PDF? I know it’ll take some of the formatting out, but for my purposes (pdf’s and my text to speech program don’t tend to get along too well) it would work a lot better.
Thank you much, seriously.

Greetings Jeff,
I recently ran across your account of attending “Celebrate Samhain” (Peterborough NH) in 2006. First off, I’d like to thank you for your kind words. We work very hard to produce the event, and have been overwhelmed by the positive response we’ve received from both the Pagan community and community at large.
We are well into planning our 2008 Celebrate Samhain (our third year), and based on your account of or 2006 event, you may be pleased to learn that Ellen Evert Hopman will be joining us again this year (we’ll try to give her more time! *grin*)
My reason for writing you however, is as to whether you might have an interest in participating in this year’s Pagan Panel Discussion. Your postings are engaging, well-thought, and articulate. There’s a possibility for a workshop slot as well (should you have an interest)–though we are awaiting confirmations at the moment.
Please let me know at your soonest convenience as to if you’d have an interest/availabilty in attending this year as a participant–we’d love to include you on the panel.
My thanks in advance for your consideration.
Blessings,
Kevin Sartoris
