		<description>Hey there Bill,

Thanks for your kind words!

I admit I also wondered whether Buddhists wouldn't have changed the wording if there were anything wrong with it. However, it's worth noting that the meditation would only have been translated into English in the last hundred years or so; and the original Pali/Sanskrit/Tibetan wording may well be completely positive. For example, the Buddha used the word "dukkha" to describe the unpleasant aspects of human mortal life. It is usually translated as "suffering", but more literally it refers to a wheel axle that doesn't fit properly. In English, there is no simple word for that; we can only describe it with negatives, like "out of joint" or "ill-fitting". But I don't know...

I also see what you're saying about the prepositional modification. However, I'm not sure if there really is a sense of "free" that is different from "free from X". If you're free, you're free of SOMETHING. That SOMETHING is always implied. The situation may be different with "safe", but in that case I still think it would be better to simply not mention what you're safe from. :-)</description>

		<description>Hi, Jeff,

I found your site a few months ago, and re-discovered it last when, when I was really ready for it. I really enjoyed the conversation about the negativity in the loving kindness meditation.
I have two thoughts. One, the buddhists have been doing it for a long time, and if it needed changing, would probably have discovered it by now.

Second, Change FROM to OF... and it works. From or of is just beginning a prepositional phrase, which has no bearing on the ACTION value of the sentence. MAY I BE FREE......MAY I BE SAFE.... is the operating statement. from or of is just specifying safe or free from what.....or Of what... May I be Free OF pain, Of Danger...

Just a simple $.02. I like your site, and will be returning frequently.

PS Your phrase "going to my room" really resonates with me to. Thanks for that phrase.

<description>There is a step by step model which teaches you exactly how to string all the parts of intention, energy and action together.

It is the secrets of the Laws of Mind which provides the full blueprint and code of manifestation.

For example, in intention there are several things required such as

1. momentary living
2. single minded focus
3. doing one thing at a time
4. concentration
5. non judgement
6. unawareness

etc etc

The only way to apply these correctly is through understanding the full system of manifestation and how everything relates to everything else.
